Evie delivers some more valentines...

Evie had special visitors for President's Day Weekend - Grandma Bebe and Popi! She was so happy to give her valentines to them in person - which came with big kisses with the mmmmmm-smack! The next morning the family took Evie to the big sledding hill, but she seemed to like playing on a snow-filled playground more than sledding.

Popi studies Evie's handmade valentine with appreciation.

Wahoo! I love to swing with Mommy. When I swing by myself, I also laugh hysterically every time mom stands in front of me and then jumps out of the way when I almost hit her. It's the best!

Daddy lets me run over the bridge! Luckily the playground equipment was ice-free!

Grandma Bebe and I loved being on the see-saw and going up and down!

Chuc Mung Nam Moi!

That's "Happy New Year!" in Vietnamese, as the family celebrated Tet this Sunday. Evie looked so cute in half of her ao dai and really got into opening the red envelopes from Ba and Opa. The family had a delicious breakfast of banh chung, rice soup, and then ebelskiver pancakes (Danish pancakes filled with apple filling). What a wonderful way to start the new year!

Evie had a great time in her beautiful Vietnamese dress!

Evie looks a little disappointed that she only got $1 bills from Mommy and Daddy!

Evie digs into the envelopes, but knows to give all her money to Mommy for safe-keeping.

After all red envelopes were opened, Evie gave Ba and Opa their handmade valentine!
