From Wolf Trap with Love

On August 5, the family and Ba and Opa braved a summer thunderstorm to see the National Symphony Orchestra perform a night of James Bond theme songs at Wolf Trap. By the time we arrived, most of the rain had gone away and we sat on the Lawn enjoying a picnic of cheese, carrots, and sandwiches. As the clouds disappeared, the stars came out and we all laid back and relaxed to the sounds of music.

Opa, Ba, Mommy and Evie are all smiles as the orchestra started to play the Bond theme songs in chronological order. Opa shared all his favorite memories from each film.

Some nice people sitting by gave Evie some of their glow-in-the-dark bracelets which she loved playing with. About an hour into the program Evie decided she was a little tired so she crawled into her stroller and took a nap.
