There's nothing like heading down to the National Mall to enjoy the annual Kite Festival by the Washington Monument! Ellie enjoyed staying on the ground and pointing out all the character kites she saw take to the skies...
...while Evie helped Daddy have our kite take flight! We were all impressed with how high the kite got this year!
The girls share hugs to keep themselves toasty in the breeze.
While we missed seeing the actual cherry blossoms this year - could not make it work before rain and wind swept the blooms away, we did have some fun times making crafts like cherry blossom trees and fish windsocks while listening to taiko drumming to keep in the spirit of the season.
